Around you are my paintings. They are not made with any machine assistance. But I have spent much time immersed in the world of digital image creation and AI models. They are, if you like, a control group.
Questions about agency, authorship and what constitutes an artwork, although not new, seem timely and reflect larger cultural issues with which we are all becoming familiar.
This application invites you to collaborate right now on the creation of a new object.
Your co-collaborators: the painter, an AI model, and writers and thinkers from the past with whom the AI is familiar.
